more users on 1 xp computer, active webcam

Hi,

I have 3 user accounts on a PC running XP and active webcam 5. 1 admin
(me) and 2 users with limited rights. I'm saving my cam's output on a
network drive (actually it is the webserver) to which all 3 of us have
access. It is mapped as drive v: in windows. I'm just putting stills
there (no streaming).

I'm still struggling a bit to get it right. I cannot run it as a service
as on startup it is not yet connected to the network (or could I
circumvent that by using \\server\drirectory rather than v:\ as the
saving location).

Do I ned to set up profiles for each users or can they share?

Anyone has something like this working and can recommend how it has been
set up?
