Windows boot manager is missing or corrupt

when i ws using my computer it automatically restarted and when i again started my computer it was saying ur "boot manager is corrupted"......!!!
and next time it was showing "error in loading files of OS"
please HELP ME!

Oh god this happened to me before a long time ago. Im sure there may be a way around it. I didnt know and figured I had a virus and was forced to buy a new HDD and re-install windows. I was actually happy afterwards -.-

Software failure doesn't warrant HDD replacement in any case, shape or form.

@OP: You should boot from your Windows 8 DVD and select repair option. It will automatically fix your startup errors.

Yeah, but it's an easy way to sell a HDD that's been sitting on the shelf with a 'service' to go with it.
