Here's the system;

ASUS M2N32 - SLI DELUXE WIFI EDITION (Socket AM2)
(nforce 590, PCI-E)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (2.6GHZ) Dual-Core, Socket AM2
ATI RADEON X1900XT 512MB PCI-E
Corsair Twin2x2048 -6400 2.0GB DDR - 667 (x2 = total: 4.0GB)
Western Digital Cavier SE16 250GB SATA 3GB/S
Western Digital Cavier SE16 320GB SATA 3GB/S
ASUS DRW1612BL/BK 16x DVD+-Writer with lightscribe
ASUS Quietrack CRW-5232A4 52x32x52 CD Writer

And here is the PSU I plan to buy:

Seasonic S12 600W Power Supply

Is this a good choice?
Thank you in advance.

An excellent choice for your system, which should make it future proof as well. Seasonic is a very reliable make according to customer feedback on the net :D

WOW!.... Now that is adding some great info to the thread

Take a look at the CosairHX620w PSU, sure it is a little more, but it comes with a 5 year warranty and is modular

Seasonic is a GREAT choice. Check out the Seasonic Energy 650w, it's even better, newer, quieter from what I've read:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E1681...

The irony of the Corsair is that it's basically a Seasonic, but with modular cables and a different name/sticker.

Both are excellent choices.

That is a wonderful PSU that i would not hesitate to own...
4 gigs of RAM is nice but all you need is 2 gig..
