Any one know of a company that sells a router/firewall for Cable/DSL/Dialup. I'm trying to find one (even if it doesn't have Cable/DSL ) so when there is a demand for an internet connection it will dial and connect automaticly as needed.

Thanks

I have been wanting that too.

The closest thing I've seen that might be able to do it are these so called "ethernet serial servers". Similar to a print server but a serial port accesible through the LAN. I'm thinking there is a way one could get this to work with an external modemand my router to work right. I just haven't been brave enough to try the experiment as it would cost money.

It would be cool to have a backup internet connection set up for when Comcast is acting up, but that is so rare ithasn't been an issue yet.
