Hi Guys,
Need your opinion over an issue.
There is a guy who claims that there cant be any bottlenecking between a cpu and a gpu,
in other words he mean that he will get the most out of a GTX280 even if he run it on a P4.
According to him "CPU is connected to the NB of mobo and PCIe lane is in the SB" so bottlenecking cant happen!!
He is comparing an i7 to a p4 and advising people to go for dualcore instead of quads telling them that quads are useless and should be only bought after 3-4 yrs.
He seems to have a lot of believe in this site so only you guys can explain it to him that cpu can actually bottleneck a gpu.

Thanks in Advance ;)

Tell him to do some research and come back with a verifiable numbers to back his claim up. Also let him know that the PCI-express that GPUs fit into is connected to the NB, not SB.
