Can I get a new stick of memory 1y later and run dual-ch?

I purchased the stick of memory that I am running now a year ago (look at sig), and I was wondering if I could purchase a second identical stick and run dual channel. Is this possible?

P.S., as I have the PRO version (there are LED status lights on the top), could I get the standard version, that is different only because it is missing the LED's, and do the same thing?

Oh. I was under the impression that dual-channel is really picky. Kind of like how SLI was in its' early times.

It all depends on the MB and chipset. Some are very picky, some are not picky at all. Newer chipsets/boards (especially Intel-based) tend to be less picky.
