I am running Outlook 2003 under WinXP Pro SP1A and all was fine until a couple of days ago, when I couldn't connect to my pop3 server. I cannot connect in Outlook Express either. I share my cable internet connection with my daughter's pc and I can connect to my pop3 server from her pc.

I don't want to have to rebuild my pc again.

Any suggestions?

Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in!

Can you still access the web from your PC? If so, check your POP3 server settings.

If you installed any firewalls or routers recently either disable them or bypass them and try it. If not then try and disable windows xp's firewall under network connections.

Will work IT for food. Seriously.
