Ordered the parts for the new computer i'm getting today (in signature).

Planning on dual booting this machine. XP Pro and Vista RC2 for now then reformating the vista RC2 part and putting Vista home premium instead, keeping the machine dual booting for the old games that won't run in vista that i still use ocasionally in some of my LAN's

Case 1
Am wondering should i partition the two hard disks

Hard Disc 1
- 40GB formatted for OS (Vista RC2, then vista home premium)
- Remaining 260GB formatted for games
Hard Disk 2
-20GB formatted for OS (Windows XP Pro)
- Remaining 280GB formatted for music, video

Case 2
Or leave the two hard disks unpartitioned installing one OS on each.

If it's case two would the rest of the hard drive be accessable to the other OS i.e rest of hard disk with Vista installed accessable to XP, and rest of hard disk with XP installed on accessible to Vista
