I posted in memory and then tried to edit my original post but the forum said I was not allowed to edit the page, why? This seems like a bug because it was my topic and post I was trying to edit.

Was it literally like seconds afterwards? You might have to wait a moment before editing. Is it still giving you this error now?

This happens a lot, Joe but only with the Full Edit facility- Quick Edit works every time. Full Edit allows you to open the post and alter it but when you try to save and post it back, it throws that "you are not allowed" message. I thought it migh tbe a UK thing but it might be more general.
