I am looking to replace my super-old Geforce 6600 PCI-E. They have a x1900GT at newegg.

This is my psu http://support.gateway.com/s/POWER [...] Rsp2.shtml

I have heard this will run a 7600GT but will it sport the faster ATI card.

My system is Athlon 64 X2 4200 2.2GHZ/2048MB DDR2/250 SATA-II/DVD

Any help would be great, thanks a million.

According to the gateway page you sent me to, that power supply has two 12v 18A outputs, if that is so, it certainly should run the video card you are looking at BUT it only claims 300 watts as the max power output, if that's the case I don't believe it would be anywhere near the requirements of an x1900GT.
