Just rebuilt my workstation in a day after a mid production crash (new MoBo and video card), but when I come out of sleep mode the second monitor does not sync properly. The display area is smaller and when I check the frequency it is running at 60 Hrz VS 85 Hrz.

Switching to 16 bit color and then back to 32 fixes the problem, that is until I again put her to sleep and attempt to work another day.

I was in a rush to complete a project (3D artist) so I just grabbed whatever card I could use with my 2.5 year old AGP system.

Visiontech Radeon X1300 XT (dual head) 256 AGP
Asus P4c800-e Deluxe
XP Pro service pack 2

I updated the drivers yesterday, but no luck. I still have a few weeks to return the card, but I thought I might get some help from the crew here at Toms.

Please let me know if you have any ideas, Tnx. :?

BTW - I returned the Radeon card today and threw in a Nvidia 7600 GS OC. No problems comming out of sleep.

But now this card tells me SLI is disabled even though I have one card and never enabled SLI.

Oh the joys of building and maintaining your own hardware!

Update to to the latest driver and this problem will go away - it was solved some time ago IIRC.
