Suggestion on a mobo for a semiserious gamer.

Yeah i have a lot of things i want to get, but it all depends on the mobo. I want something with ddr2 800, and 2 pcie cards (you need two to run sli right), socket 775 for processor.

I think you'd likely struggle to find any board that doesn't have most of, if not all of those features.

Post some boards you're considering and then have it whittled down by people who have experience with them, that's probably the best thing to do, as I could just reel of a list of all the boards with those features and you'd be none the wiser.

Of all those, only the DQ6 has 2 PCI-E X16 slots, and if you plug in 2 cards, you get one running X16 and the other running X4. I think the original post said something about dual-card graphics.

yeah i know but i 've been doing some research and realized i'm not serious enough to go sli, and pay that much for 20% more performance.
