The 400W and 450W units need that PCIe connector if they're to be taken seriously. After all, even the 360W Seasonic 360G has one, and the 380W Antec EA-380D does too. For these to be 80+ bronze and not have that connector make no sense, unless they've got a phenomenal number of SATA connectors to run servers.

What was the point of this article? Some random crappy low end PSU maker is late to the game and finally releases a new low end PSU. With how cheap 80+ Gold power supplies are I wouldn't consider anything less. Bronze is the new standard for anyone looking to cheap out on parts.

I wonder how many of these companies actually make power supplies. Rather than re-branding generic parts.

Why gamble on a PSU ? If in doubt, try a Seasonic (OEM or end-user branded) or Corsair.

350w-450w should all come with at least 1 PCI-e power connector. If you don't have one and are 80 Plus certified than either you don't care about the dedicated GPU market (ones that use 1 PCI-e power connector) or your PSU isn't really a quality PSU. Just saying. I wouldn't touch this brand right now with a 10 foot pole! There are plenty of other options out there that would meet these needs (Seasonic/Corsair/Antec/etc.).

Careful with Corsair. Some of their cheap models have issues (IE CX V1 and V2 series models and I'm not sure about the newer V3, granted I've been told that they're better than their predecessors).
