My setup is basically i have two monitors for PC-usage, and I also need another gfx-card to handle output to a TV and a projector using VGA cables. Therefore I need to run two graphics adapters, which is a bit of a problem.

My main graphics card is an XFX GeForce 7600GT 256MB GDDR3 XXX, PCI-Express, 2xDVI/HDTV, 590/1600Mhz, running on the PCI-Express of course. The other card is a cheap Radeon 9200 card running on good old PCI.

However, when both cards are connected and innstalled in Windows, Windows cannot boot! I have to disable the Radeon card from within "device managment" in Windows whenever rebooting, or I won't get back into Windows.

You know the little part during the Windows boot where the Windows XP logo goes away for a few seconds, and the login screen appears? Well, when I am running both cards, the login screen never shows up. It just goes black from there.

I used to have an AGP+PCI setup and this always worked fine, but PCI-Ex+PCI seems to have trouble. Ive also tried on two different motherboards, but i REALLY suspect there is some Windows-setting somewhere.

Needless to say, i have put the PCI-Express card as first choice in the BIOS setting :)

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Ive got an ABIT AB9, P965, Socket-775, GbLAN, ATX, 6xSATAII, DDR2, Firewire, PCI-Ex16.

I dont even think this board supports SLI..

It works just fine when i enable it after boot. Its only when I have it enabled during the Windows booting im having troubles.

I guess a video-splitter like the ones you posted could be a possibilty if nothing else works.
