Case Suggestion

I am about to build a new system and have been looking at cases. I'm looking for something in a Mid to Full Tower. My main concern is that there is plenty of room for my components. Any feedback, concerns and suggestions are welcomed especially if you have builds similar to this.

The case needs to house the following:
Thermaltake W0106RU 700watt modular psu
E6600
Zalman CNPS9500 Heatsink
Abit IN9 32X-MAX (waiting for it)
eVGA GeForce 8800GTX
150gb WD Raptor
Corsair XMS Ram 2gb
Plexwriter DvD burner
16x DVD Drive
Floppy (may as well put it in even though I've not used one in years)


I have been looking at some Lian Li and some Thermaltake cases. Let me know what you think about these in particular.

Since you said you'd take suggestions as well, I just built a system with an 8800gtx in a SilverStone TJ-09 and there is ample room.

It's probably more expensive but is really a great case... and superb for cooling.

I'm pretty sure that a 8800GTX will either be a pain in those Lian Li's or it won't fit at all. The thermaltake, however is an ATX Full Tower and the 8800GTX will probably fit. I recommend these cases:

The CM Stacker 830 is the only Nvidia certified Chassis for using 2 8800GTXs in SLI. The CM Stacker 810 is another really big, really nice case. The 3D Aurora is also a case that should be plenty big and is also a very nice case.

hey there!

you should definately check out the Antec 900. there are 3 or 4 120mm fans as well as a whopping 200mm fan on the top!! these fans keep the system insanely cool from what i hear and is not too noisy to top it off.

thats my 2 cents anyway...

This case rocks! Silverstone knows how to cool components. All aluminum. Perfect heat transfer.
