This is a new build. Problem is with a Gigabyte 7900GS I had some trouble getting video on POST. I reseated the video card several times and finally got it working. After installing the drivers I get the error message "Gigabyte VGA Bios not found!" on startup. This is being generated by one of Gigabyte's programs that came with the card. Thing is, the card seems to be working fine otherwise. I was playing FEAR 10 minutes ago without issue.

The problem seems to be that the utility programs cannot access the BIOS. Does this seem like a hardware issue? I already tried updating the software. I am unable to flash the GPU BIOS due to this issue.

I'm having the same issue, but I'm wondering I should bother to do anything about it. I get this message in Windows, but not in Linux. Everything basically seems to be ok.

Are there any nasty issues I'd have to contend with if I remove the CMOS battery. Is it I'd just have to reset the time?
