How do I install sus client on windows Xp and 2000

If running Windows XP (SP1) or Windows 2000 (SP3 or newer) it is already
installed. (it is part of the service pack)

If working with Windows XP (no service packs) or Windows 2000 (SP2), then
you can acquire the automatic updates client from
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/recommended/susclient/default.asp.
Its an MSI file so it can be deployed via Active Directory software
installation GPO or using whatever software distribution tools your site
might use.
