I second this.

And I third this. I have that exact drive, got it when it was first released and every test I've done shows nothing but dominant performance in the 7200 RPM category and it even beats some 10000 RPM drives in a few categories!

I did some benches on my hard drives today because I finally got my raid array working correctly today. And it is kinda a disappointment for my raid 0 array. I have 2 ATA 133 drives hooked together on different cables and it has the the same performance as my Seagate 320 gig. Maybe I didn't set the mode right on the ata drives maybe it running in some lower DMA mode. I would really recommend that drive it's equal to my raided drives. I should get another one of those 320 gigs and raid that. Now that would be fast.
