think my graphics card is overheating. i thought i had bust it with my recent upgrade because evrytime i'd check the temperature it was under 50 c.
Have smartdoctor which keeps u up to date on graphics card properties.
But after trying to load planetside and then quiting when the screen was messed, i checked temperature and it was going over 70 c and rising and fan speed said 0 rpm. At the mo fan speed is normal and temp is just below 50 c. so i guess the fan stops working sometimes, but any idea how i can fix it?

My mindreading isn't too good today, so seeing as how we do not know what brand the card is to relate it to known overheating problems that some brands are plagued with, I'd say you may need to invest in an aftermarket GPU cooler for whatever brand card you may have.
