Well, if you have to go 939, then I would not suggest anything else but DFI. But, keep in mind it is a very tweakable board and 939 is a dead end upgrade route as of now.

No reason to avoid s939!

Every motherboard I've ever bought (and I'm old enough to have bought every generation) has been a dead end.

I just bought a 965+c2d, I have absolutely no expectation of reusing that board in 2-3yrs when I do an upgrade.

The 939 will support x2 and it wont bottleneck a top of the line video card.

That being said: a $217 e6400 will clock higher than a $275 4400X2, and thats the price difference between that dfi board and a nice 965p-ds3. So unless you already got the memory, or a good deal on the a64...
