new build bsod on xp install

asus ammo 533
core 2 6400
msi p965 platinum mb w/ich8r controller
2 gb pny 667 ddr2 memory
powercolor x800gto 256mb pcix
twin seagate 320gb raid 1
antec 600 watt dual rail ps
dvd rom generic
dvd burner pioneer dvd1100
when in bios no ide drives show up most of the time but when they do they show up as primary master and secondary master even though both are on priomary controller and set for master and slave
installed everything setup raid 50gb for os and 250 for files
installs raid driver fine
gets to windows is starting up and gets bsod about pci.sys
tried mx4000 128 pci card same thing
any ideas?

i used a slipstreamed xp sp2 cd and got past the pci.sys error now i get a genreal hardrive failure but they are good tested them in another system
it has the jmicrom ide controller
