How to disable the quiet to LOUD sound of my PPC

When I hear a sound on my Siemens SX56 it goes from quiet to normal sound
levels in about a second. Ringers, games, etc.
I understand the need for this and all but is there a way to disable it? A
reg. hack or something?

Because it's quiet at first, I'm missing out on the first 1 second of verbal
directions from my GPS software which is kind of important to me.
