Ok I have currently a 650 Prescott 3.4, 2gbs of DDR 400 Value Kingston ram, and BFG 7900GSOC. So I'm upgrading to a E6300 the going to oc to a E6400, 1GB "2x512" Dual Channel XM2 Corsair DDR2 800 ram. Im was wondering if my video card was being bottlenecked because my processor and ram were not good enough. Think I will see a fps diffrence?

Regardless of the resolutions you game at, you will see improvement in performance. Cutting your memory in half will dull the increased effect of the better CPU and faster memory, but in short, yes you will see more FPS.

he will not necessarily 'see' an improvement in performance. It is not possible to 'see' a difference between, for example, 60 fps and 90 fps.

Wow, no need to get hostile. You read my meaning differently than I intended it be interpreted.

By saying the OP will "see" a difference, I intended that a difference will be noted. He never said he was already over the 60fps mark, that can only be assumed.

Running a suite of benchmarks and physically using your eyes to "see" the change in the numbers is seeing a difference.

Calm down a little, this thread is void of argument and no need for any shall arise or has arisen.

that is fair enough, but the op needs to clarify whether he is looking for an improvement purely in the fps numbers (as determined by running benchmarks) or whether he is looking for an improvement in his overall gaming experience.

Thank you for the constructive reply. I agree we cannot determine everything until we know what games are being played at what settings and resolutions.

Though the overall performance of the computer will be greater, gaming will possibly see the least visible increase in performance.

The minimum FPS will at least have had a bump even if a small one :D You'l notice the biggest difference with the dual core for games that are written to utilize it like HL2. Multi core gaming is quickly becoming the mainstream. Congrats on the 6300 bro.
