Need Help on first build

I've gotten my system up and running... sort of.

I've got windows mce 2005 installed. I installed the new chipset drivers that came with my motherboard. However, I can't install stuff. For instance, I tried to install the drivers for wireless internet and I can't. I get an error that says:

"The InstallShield Engine (kernel.exe) could not be launched. The RPC server is unavailable."

What does this mean? I need help cause I can't seem to be able to do anything on my computer other than watch my windows desktop...

I am a total newbie on building my own system so I may have forgotten to do something simple... HELP!

Man when windows Me first came out I got that on a Dell comp instead of Windows 2000, and on top of that I managed to delete my kernel.exe aswell, good times.

Thanks for the help. As an act of desperation I decided to try that yesterday and all seems to be well now
