A basic question

I have a router and a pc with a pci wifi adapter.

Right now, the pc cannot receive the signal.

Can I add a better antenna on the pc so that it receives the signal? Or must I install it on the router?

My router has the antenna built internally, so I can't install any antenna on the router.

Anyone else know? Is it possible to enhance the connection by adding anything only on the client side?

Adding a external or beam antenna will help.

But, You may want to consider a repeater.
