This is the system I've put together so far. I'm not sure about this particular case or PSU so please speak up if there's something else I should be looking at. I'm also a bit unsure about the RAM and wonder if I would benefit from upgrading it to DDR2 800 - so let me know on that too. Also, I'm NOT overclocking and will use the system for mostly Internet, Music, and some gaming (UT 2007!!). Here goes:

Memory:
Corsair PC5400 2GB ddr2

I really appreciate any comments/suggestions concerning this. I'm waiting on the release of Vista Home Premium before I build this.

first of all, its a shame that your not oc-ing, that system was basiclly a made for it! you could get to 3.0ghz sooooooo easily.

anyway, the psu and ram is fine, the biggest problem is that your ordering from tigerdirect, ive heard a ton of horror storys about them, and newegg is generally cheaper then they are (that psu is $105 on newegg.).

I could be talked into overclocking and probably will if I hang around these boards for long. I'm mostly console gaming so don't have a huge need to overclock right now. Thanks for the input. The main reason I have tigerdirect links is that they have a HUGE outlet store near me that I will likely use to buy the parts (Chicago area). It makes for much easier returns if I encounter any parts problems.

It may be convenient for returns but you will pay sales tax since you are buying in-state...but then again with no shipping charges back n forth your better off...

WOW, that's a helluva system for gaming and internet. If you do some overclocking, you'll have a BEAST on your hands ;)

If not, then the 6600 CPU is overkill for your usage. Don't get me wrong, it's a great CPU, but if you are looking to drop your budget a bit, then go with the 6400.....it'll easily handle what you need.
