I have a Gateway GT5228 with a 300WATT PSU with 18 amps on BOTH 12v rails.

I have a 4200 x2 2gb DDR2 and a SATA HDD along with a DVD Drive. I used the PSU calculater and is said i would use 295 watts. Will my system be able to handle the x1900GT.

Any help would be awesome.

Also depends on how old the PSU is... got to account for capacitor aging. I'm assuming that 295 watts would be peak load of course
