Hey im doing a build and im going to have these specs

intel c2e qx6700
geforce 8800 GTX watercooled
geforce 8800 GTX watercooled
x-fi elite pro
2 raptor X 150gb in a 5.25 bay enclosure
PCP&C 1kw-sr PSU
2 DVD burners lite-on(forgot the model number)
asus striker extreme mobo
4 gbs of corsair TWIN2X2048-8888C4DF

now anyways...

so i need to fit all this in a case, as well as water cool the GPUs, CPU, and mobo...

now i can't put the GPUs and CPU in one loop, cause the GPUs produce massive amounts of heat, im going to get the BFG watercooled GTXs which use the danger den blocks

and im going to use the danger den 680i block for the mobo

heres what i was thinking, would this work?

i would get this case

http://www.koolance.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=28_43&products_id=275

and use the 1kw cooling for the GPU and mobo and use this for the CPU:

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2398/ex-wat-90/CoolIT_Systems_Freezone_Universal_CPU_Cooler_-_Preassembled_Internal_TEC_Water_Cooling_Kit.html?tl=g30

now heres my dilemma.... i can't find a window kit to install fans to cool the HDD enclosures or the memory or the south bridge of the mobo:

the corsair TWIN2X2048-8888C4DF with the fan cooler http://www.hothardware.com/viewarticle.aspx?articleid=871&cid=5

i will have 2:

http://xoxide.com/nexus-drive-a-way-black.html

now i dont know what to do, should i choose a different case if i do i want to use this:

http://www.koolance.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=28_41&products_id=380

im a neat freak, i can deal with the tubing in my computer but i dont want pumps and radiators showing all over the PC...

my other problem is this:

if i use the Coolit CPU LCS will it interfere with my dominator ram cooler?

also i was looking at other cases like this:
http://forums.2cpu.com/showthread.php?t=77396

but can i still use my HDD enclosures and have 2 DVD burners if i get a case like that or are my enclosures too big? also a stacker case recommendation for all this would be nice, keep in mind that i will also have a very large sized PSU.

i need fair air cooling, noise is a slight problem, and i need all in one LCS but i dont want pumps and radiators all over my case. i love koolance products i hope theres windows kit or side panel mod i can get, and i hope i can mod it some how so the fans and the ram cooler dont interfere with the CPU cooler, and if i have to use a CPU block instead of the LCS i chose for the CPU then i need something compatible with stormtech apogee thank you for reading i know it was long, merry xmas all, and god bless

Glad to help.

@randomizer

Check my list of post. Yes PSUs are in there alot but i'm in many other sections as well. :p

bah he answered my question on monitors ><

P.S @mpilch why do you know so much about PSU's? do you work for a PSU company or something? Not meaning to pry but just curious, you dont have to answer.

hehe yeah I would have to agree with you - just being here and reading random posts that look interesting has taught me 75% of what I know about computers (ok maybe less..) but regardless ive learned a ton in just a few weeks. I really had to though as I'm going to be building my first computer very soon (like as soon as i get the money ><) and because during college im gonna go into something involving computers.

BTW the PSU 101 sticky really helped me out a lot. I used to think the cheapest PSU w/ the most watts = the best PSU. Not so it seems.

I don't like prebuilt LCS cases because the tubing used is so small (either 1/4" or 3/8'). While they give you all the reducers you may require this still sucks. Also, the pumps they use are not that great. If you really want a LCS case then go for a custom case from frozencpu like this one.

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...me_Radiator_Water_Cooled_Case.html?tl=g1c2s35

Then you can use everything with 1/2" ID tubing and fittings. You can then add a separate system for your cpu or the other option is to add a radiator into the same loop between the cpu and gpu's. This may be the better option.

Right back on topic, why did you have to go and destroy a nice hijack?

I work for a large government contractor as a PC Repair Senior Specialist. I know alot about PCs. But beleive me i've learned quite a bit in the 4 months i've been on this sight. But i taught myself eveything i know about PSUs. Just did alot of research around the net. Learned it to fill the void on the form. There was allot PSU related PC problems going unanswered and i wanted to help. I hate when it take forever to get an answer. I also realised the form could use a basic tutorial about PSUs that would answer alot of peoples questions without having to repeat myself every other post. So i wrote PSU 101. To do that i had to really know what i'm talking about. Otherwise people would be quick to correct me. If you look at the 2nd post in that Sticky you will see what the thread started out to be. Then i grew into the all out article it is today. I guess i just wanted to make my mark. It's my little 15 minutes of fame.
The problem is that there are too many people that dont read stickies and ask questions they could answer themselves if they just did some research.

i disagree dude... i would much rather have an intellectual conversation with a person and have all my questions answered at once or enlightened all at once then read how tos and manuals all day and come out more confused and with more questions. having a human explain the subject to you is real time is an unrivaled experience.

The just read everyone elses questions, rather than asking the same things over and over.
