have recently done a major upgrade, now i'm having problems but don't really know what part is faulty. Upgraded my motherboard, cpu and memory.
Had some real trouble putting core 2 fan on, i guess one of the clip in springs was in the wrong position, but spent about half an hour trying to push into board until it was finally sorted, so if motherboard is damaged it wud make a lot of sense.
the game that makes me think there is a real problem is planetside.
Have read on sites that it may be my board or mem on graphics card. loads of artifacts virtually everytime it is loaded although twice it has worked with no problems whatsoever. halflife2 dm runs without a single problem.
I'm being a bit lazy with this post i guess, i still have my old board so that wud test the main board, plus i have other graphics cards. Can test graphics card easily enough but removing the main board is something i don't really want to do, are there programs for testing nvidia video card memory? or does anyone have anidea what problem might be.
