My primary concern is whether the 680i will work together with the ram without having to change the voltages beforehand or work at all.

My other concern is whether I should use this old sound card or get a new one. I'm not going to be using the sound card for sound engineering purposes only for increasing the fps by lessening cpu strain.

I've had replies saying that I might have to remove the hard drive tray in order to get the 8800gtx to fit, any additions to this?
I've also ordered a tuniq tower 120 and am curious if it will cause a conflict between the case.
Apparently the 680i has metalic struts at the bottom, will I be able to safely install the tuniq tower?

I know that the chance of the 680i being DOA, not Posting, and having a BSOD is around 1/5. With this in mind I think it is worth the risk due to the chip set and board being such a high quality.

I also have the oppertunity to RMA the board while i'm off on vacation and aquire a new board. What other future proof mobos do you suggest that have a nice oc ability, because I plan to push the c2d to 3.5~.
