I got my new system today, running at stock everything. 14, 135 3DMark06. Temps read CPU 40C, System 51C, First GPU 85C, Second gpu 76C under load. Is this about right for a Q6700 intell cpu, twin 8800 gtx in SLI. Temps creep up only a couple of degrees when under sustained load. CPU 35C, system 48C, gpus 78,72C at idle. CPU cooling with the Coolit Freezone. Can anyone advise?? Thank you for your time and help!!

I would say you're doing pretty good. That system as tested at a few sites is drawing around 600W.

You may want to look at water cooling for those 8800s.

You temps are a tad bit on the high side. You should make sure you have adequate airflow. The main card will be around 80c optimal in sli under heavy load. This will always depend on what your ambient temps are too. What seems strange is that your reporting only a 7c varience between idle and load temp. I would check again since most people get 15~20c increase. What are you using to report your temps, when are you taking readings, ect?

I have 2 120mm in the front of my case for intake. The back of my case has 2 x 120mm and 2 x 80mm for outtake. My CPU is cooled by a Scythe and also has a 120mm adjusted to blow out the back. Make sure your case is in a good position that increases airflow also.

Youve got enough fans in there to suck as much power as a 7600gt.
