I just ordered this DVDRW drive from Newegg, and noticed in the reviews afterwards that this drive has some serious compatibility issues with some motherboards. The Plextor compatibility list for this drive doesn't mention the Gigabyte DS3, so I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with these two, and if the DS3 works well with it.

The other Plextor DVDRW drive on Newegg was the PX-760a, and Plextor doesn't mention it in their compatibility list. I'm trying to find an upper range SATA DVDRW drive, and newegg.com only has these.
