I want to upgrade my Dell to at least a Gig of RAM. Right now I have 256MB. I know it needs specific RAM. Anyone know of a good deal and one that is compatible? Thanks

I take it you have the 530 workstation?? Rambus RDRAM.....OUCH, not cheap. Looks like it needs to be upgraded in pairs too.

Heh, don't bother.

RDRAM was stupidly expensive when it was widely available, now it is hard to find, really slow, useless when you upgrade, and not available in decent capacities.

Added to that, its soo expensive, a new budget CPU, Motherboard, and DDR2 Ram probably wouldn't cost much more and would perform much better.

Yes, no point in upgrading an RDRAM system.
