Which Card Should I Get?

I'm trying to find a new graphics card for my new PC but I'm a little unsure which I should get.

I'd perfere a Nvidia card because of problems I've had in the past with ATI drivers and an old DX8 game I play but I'm happy to go with ATI if I end up with a better card.

These are some I've found...

BFG 7900 GS OC 256MB GDDR3 - £138
Core (GPU): 525mhz
Memory Clock: 1320MHz

OcUK Galaxy GeForce 7900 GS OC SILENT 512MB GDDR3 - £158
Core (GPU): 540mhz
Memory Clock: 1500MHz

Connect 3D X1950XT 256MB GDDR3 - £162
Core (GPU): 625 MHz
Memory Clock: 1800Mhz

Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB GDDR3 - £172
Core (GPU): 580MHz
Memory Clock: 1400Mhz

Is the main factor (other than price) the GPU speed/memory speed or can say a Nvidia card with lower speeds perform better than an ATI card?

Would the last one with 512MB memory be better than the Connect 3D one with faster GPU/memory speeds?

Thanks

Don't get freaked out over 1 game. It could be because the game was released too early, the ATI drivers weren't optimized for it, the card didn't support something, bleh bleh  .

This all depends on how thick you wallet is. If you got it, go with the 1950 Pro. If you want to save the dough, get the BFG 7900GS as they overclock extremely well.

X1950XT definitely...

There are only three cards out there that are faster: the X1950XTX, and the 8800 cards.

And at that price, with it being cheaper than the X1950Pro, definitely.

Looks like I'll be getting the X1950XT then.

Do they normally come with a "DVI-I to VGA Converter dongle" or should I buy one?
