I recently assembled following configuration
Core 2 Duo E6600
(2x 1) GB 667Mhz Transcend memory (In my place it is not possible to get 800 or 1Ghz DDR2)
Aus P5B deluxe Wifi
Aus ATI X800 Platinum Edition.
730w SMPS
73GB WD 10000RPM HDD

I am a beginner to overclocking and also for Intel CPU's.
Currently the avg CPU temperature is around 50 and MB temperature is around 45. And I have not connected case fans (Bz I have opened the case on both sides).

I want to overclock my current system without using any additional cooler or with new mem
Please tell me or give the link where I can get the information how to do that.

Is there any tool, which can tell what multiplier/ frequency/voltage I have to change to achieve an overclock?

There is a chip on MB (Which is connected to heat pipe), which gets very hot after few mints. Does this has any drawbacks for OC

Thaks in avance
