That's what you get for getting your ass day in day out in forums that will eventually end up nowhere. :P
You will get influenced (your choice) by people that had parents that does not give them any attention or beat them up. They'll use The Internet to take out their frustrations on you trying to make you sick as well. Poor grown ups (but still living in the past).
They act like their parents. It's like those parents who feed their children their strong religeon without leaving their children the choice in chosing religeon. These kind of sect activities program children for life just like a dog that will never undo it's learnings from the past even if you beat him up in which some dumbasses see a good thing to try making the dog even more unhappy.
So, children and those poor grownups are trying to frustrate eachother more and more on The Internet.
Anyways, don't listen to my crap. It's all bull from an insane drunk autistic Pr!ck who gives **** anymore about life except for animals. :P

Yes it's me and all the dumbasses reacting to it. I've tryed to warn them but forget it. They just can't leave it alone those poor....uhhhh yeah Pr!cks. ;)

I'll guess they are ill as well. They'll react to useless posts like this cause they kinda find themselves lost in this world. But that's ok. I'll help them by writing these stupid posts. They'll at least get some food to react on and still have a goal in life on this forum.

Now where were we? I'm a Pr!ck (Actually, I'm a nice guy but you don't know me because you are a Pr!ck by saying that)? Been there done that. Next. Bored

I am wondering why are you craving acceptance so much..

1. You are from Australia, a whole people descending from rejects. If anyone can deal with rejection, it's the Australians.
2. Acceptance is highly overrated, ánd if you stop craving it, it may just drop in your lap.

Now bugger off.

He does seem to bounce around a little but the article from "The Ottawa Gazette" was interesting. When i play my game of Company Of Heroes i can see that i become at times addicted.

Addictions are things that are imperitive to be aware of!

When it comes to a game like that I think addiction is the wrong word, maybe obsessed to complete the thing makes more sense, its an unknown challenge as you're going through it, but as for myself, once I beat the game, I don't want anything else to do with it and usually give them away.

Addiction is more of cannot do without period, and I don't see the internet being that at all, however to some people it very well could be, if I were to class anything internet available as possibly being addictive, it would probably be porn.

Some search for porn like a never ending adventure, downloading as much as they can and saving it, they can never watch all they've already downloaded, but they still keep collecting it?

Why?

Are they looking for the perfect video, or the perfect video quality, or sound?

Are they looking for something they've never seen done before?

They don't know why, but keep right on collecting it.

Curious?

What do you think?

Hello Ryan.

I was going to answer your question with: "God", but imagin the replies that would generate...

I've looked at addictions quite a lot actually and especially more recently since mine have become very clear to me. Something they all seem to have in common is the erasement of the present moment during the period of the addictive behaviour. Now that may not seem significant at first glance but upon further enquiry it is because generally people who become addicted are those who are either suffering or in some kind of severe stress or stressfull situation or change in their day to day lives and the erasing of the present moment is the erasing or temporary discontinuation of their consciousnous of that situation and the accompanying turmoil.

The problem arrises when the addictions are such that they aggravate the condition as in alcoholism and drugs, or sex. Best it would then appear to have more helpfull addictions.

Umm, i wonder what that could be?

Well Pike, you really didn't answer any of my questions, you substituted your opinion for an answer, either to dodge answering in the first place, or you don't have the answer, or you're ignorant of the subject, [ignorant meaning a lack of knowledge of the subject, not your overall mentality].

In your first response of answering my question with "God", how could you possibly answer the question with "God"?

You definitely have my curiosity up, so either answer the first questions, or impress yourself, whats it gonna be?

Was i impressing myself?

Anyway, video games may be addictive to one person and not to the next. Only you know that. Like other addictions, if a person is anticipating to return to his present game of choice during the day and if the game playing affects his social and individual life in a negative way, then it's addictive.

Of course porn can be addictive, with very rare exception that the person will just admire the subjects, glorify them and be consumed in love.

As for god, well, i'd say it's our most basic seach for meaning and yes, we will even look for god in porn but we don't recognize that that is what we are doing and no one jump on me as that is my experience and you have yours.

I'd say a person that could do that would be rare indeed, watching a woman giving extremely good head and glorify them and be consumed in love.

Ah. So that's what caught your attention. You seem to imply a judment on this concept but don't come right out and say it. So at best your comment is unclear.

well he's mentioned having a steel rod in his leg, painkillers, antibiotics and bone repair drugs, so i reckon he may have had a wee accident.

Wee? Metal rods aren't wee.

Talk about wee - some dude in a Lambo here drove into a VW Gold MK1. Both cars caught fire and everyone burnt to death. In the VW the front wheel was where the handle should be. The guy in the Lambo was gunning it.

Reply to Vokofpolisiekar

What a waste of a car...

Reply to russki

What? The Vee-Dub?

The Lambo was an oldish one - Diablo I think.

Reply to Vokofpolisiekar

Until Audi took them over, Lambo's were great to look at but sh!te to drive (not that I'd know). The Golf would have been a better drive.

As for where I've been for the past while, I've been recovering from having my left leg rather badly mangled by a press. When said press fell over. I don't know why it fell over. I'd like to know why it fell over.

I hate crutches.

Nothing serious, just had the shin broken in three places, and some tearing in the muscles. Not pleasant, but it'll heal.

I hate crutches.

The part I like the least is lumping everywhere on crutches. Did I mention I hate crutches? In case I didn't, I hate crutches.

I like Audis, though... anyone want to donate serious cash to the 'Buy Mugz an R8' fund?

Back in '89 I was tagging a chick who's neighbor owned a construction co. He had 2 Countach's, a Testarossa, and a 911 for the wife painted to match her favorite lipstick.

Got to drive the Ferrari a time or two up the road but at 6'3" couldn't fit in the Mugz damn Countach. Well, I could, but letting out the clutch would probably make my knee put on the directional... So beautifully tacky 80's those things were...

Seriously - if this was work wise then you should take legal action. You pay somehow towards the Workmans Compensation Fund each month. If you do pull it off, you can donate me some.

So far, I haven't seen a single medical bill. Company picked up the tab. I would be getting paid sick leave too, but I'm here at the office out of sheer bloody boredom.

It's nice to make someone else do the running for a change, instead of running myself to check stuff. Plus it's warm in here.
