This is the engine I've been talking about. The next step is building a model.
I can't disclose technical information, but here are some interesting facts about it:
Internally oil cooled
Linear rotary design
4 stroke
Integrated oil pump
Cylinder head eliminated
Valves, cams, springs, etc eliminated
Timing chain/belt eliminated
Crankshaft eliminated
Liquid (anti freeze) cooling eliminated
Weighs 4 to 6 times less than comparable engine
Only two moving pieces
The list goes on

That photo sucks!
Me and me mum been workin' on this puppy for Spa...
Is that your new outhouse pump?
No, this is a proper outhouse pump...
Scammy, I don't want to alarm you, but Photo 4 of 5 may be a Cylon.
Is an engina what I think it is?
Yes, here is a good example. Suicide is never rational, but decapitating yourself with a chainsaw is simply weird.
He had some depressing balls. Suicide with a chainsaw?? WTF!
If that thing uses internal combustion, and judging from your list of 'specs' and the diagram you linked to, it does, then you are an idiot and should be locked up for your own safety.
I am also working on a high-power high-efficiency motor, I can't release any technical details, but it uses an electromagnetic repulsive force to operate, provided the squirrel is properly caged...
On the topic - how's the new tech they going to use on F1 next year eh?
Regenerative Braking Systems. One of these days F1 will be hippie friendly and fall flat on its face. Then I will be FORCED to watch Indycar.
They're currently testing a mung bean based engine as we speak.
The company logo being a monkey holding up an AV sign.
That's one hell of a brand message.
Decap with a chainsaw, and it's not even considered as a homicide? I think it's time to call in Sgt. Angel!
It's the same as a knife in the back with our South African cops going "eish, I zinks it was da murder eh?"..
How many people have topped themselves by shooting themselves in the head, twice?
That only happens at Deepcut, doesn't it?
Wow - what a history for Deepcut eh?
Not a nice place to do your basic, believe me. Thank fcuk I did mine up t'north.
And why might that be?
I remember watching a documentary on Deepcut, probably Panorama. How they get away dismissing contradicting forensic evidence is beyond me. And by contradictory, I mean going against common fcuking sense, not just the half arsed inquires they put on. That's 'put on' as in staged a fcuking farce.
Well, reading just headlines and the first paragraph from that wiki, I find the place to be really suspect.
I once paid some dosh to let my case get "thrown out" - aka they lost it.
What summed it up as a farce for me was the verdict on... (quicky reads article again to jog memory)... the 2001 incident in the guardhouse. "Gunshot wounds consistent to those of self harm". The fcuking rifle had been fired five times....
It long had a nasty rep, Deepcut. Depending on where you're from depends on where you do your basic. A lot of Paras are southerners, so they'd go to Deepcut. As a thick brummie, I was at Catterick up north. We'd swap stories about the regimes when we did our paratroop training, and they had it a fcuk sight worse than us. The beastings that were dished out were too much. I understand the need for harsh regimes during training, it makes the British soldier who he us and it's why we kick arse on the battlefield more than most, but that place, the sooner they close it the better.
Five times and from varying distances. I've had my brief talk some sh!t in order to muddy the waters and ensure my aquittal, this is standard practice. That level of bollocks deserves capital punishment.
The families will never get justice, that's the sad thing. The memories of their kids are tainted with the stench of those inquests. I agree, capital punishment for those responsible.
Agreed. Our military is a fcuking joke in many regards. Serviceman killed, wife looked after. Serviceman killed, ten year long girlfriend and four kids told to fcuk off.
WTF is all that about?
money.
It shows a huge lack of respect.
What do you expect if you let politicians get involved?
I expect to be lied to and robbed.
Sounds like our government alright.

I don't like it very much. The money and research going into this technology will not have an equivalent return. The focus should be elsewhere. 2.4 liters with the rate of an F1s fuel consumption should produce more power and be lighter. The power train still has a lot of room for improvement. That goes for their transmissions also.

That was a cheap way for me to gain attention. Lame.
You know, what I like about these forums is that everything is recorded. After years you can go back and read yourself.
Yes, lets go back a few years. How about we go back enough for you to be an 'Iranian alien?

The emissions are still proving a hinderence to the project.
I think it's time to put something in perspective WRT electric-vs-petrol.
Electric motors - use these on the normal passenger vehicles. Cars available to the public. This is because these cars spend a lot of their time stationary, with engine running, while waiting for a light to go green or the traffic jam to subside/move. This is sound from an environment perspective, but it isn't. More on this later.
Save the internal combustion engine for the race track (F1, hobby/weekend racing, rallying, etc). Under those conditions a motor'll last longer, but some of these freaks insist that it's the sound of the engine they like.
About 1 in 10 cars I've heard at a place like Killarney or Wesbank (while it was still open, or have they opened it again?) sounds awesome. About another 2 will sound okay to good. The rest either sound like a fart in a coffee can or as if something inside is screwed. Usually both.
Besides, I'm pretty sure that with the appropriate R&D, an electric setup will come about that'll completely blow the internal combustion engine out of the water.
From an environmental perspective, though, the electric motor isn't such a good thing. The batteries will have to be charged from the national power grid, which has its own environment emissions. So the apparent carbon reduction is negated, and a further problem is introduced due to a lot of power grids already running closer to capacity than they should be. Look at the USA. Their power grid was running at about 90% load a few years back. Imagine if just 10% of the population were to switch to electric cars. BLACKOUTS!
And I can't attack them without looking inward to my own country. Um, the electric car won't go over too well here either, since our own power grid is not in the best of health. Actually, it's semi-screwed.
Upshot of the matter, we're stuffed.
Discuss.
We're fcuked.
This topic is old and dull. In my infinite wisdom, I have already addressed the issue and provided a simple and effective solution. Burn the fcuking hippies. Job done.
For once I approve of your existence.
*Hugs tree*
***torches hippie***
Aaah, come on. I know you want to [hug the tree].
I'd rather eat my own flesh.
After hugging a tree? [/persistent focker]
i feel a group hug coming on.
*sets tree on fire*
Nah, I'm not into trees.
*hugs attractive blonde woman*
A group needs three so I'm guessing you presume you're included, which is entirely wrong by the way.
i thought it would be a 'Other' hug.
oh and mugz
*sets fire to blonde women*
