Many of you know that I do a lot of component / hardware testing, just for the hell of it and post my thoughts and rants in the Forumz and on DaBlog. This time, I'm giving you the reader a chance to choose what the Ninja reviews.
As the title implies, please respond. The best computer related product will receive my attention and I'll write a review for it. How do I decide its the best? Its a complicated mathematical formula involving the distance of my location from Mars... on second thought, I'll just use the voting stars on your posts...
So tell me what you want. And keep it under $1200, eh?
Ninja

Edit: An don't bother me about my avatar. :p

I would like an analysis of an avatar orientation analyzer

Now that I got that out of my system, ya know, if you've got the cash to burn, it would be interesting to see a QFX system review

Can you find one for under $1200?

I dont care what it is but I'll happily take it off your hands when you're finished with it. Dont want pc hardware clogging up your desk space now do I?

EDIT: And I'll take it for free too! Bet you wont find a deal like that anywhere but in Aus.

    Hell, we can save him the money and do the review right now: Amazing hardware and rendering performance, poor drivers and software

oh yeah, that'd be a good one! i'm sure there'll be plenty of reviewing hype though from all around the place, though, too. what about the rd600? i haven't seen threads asking about "which is teh best ram" 'n stuff for that board yet... did the launch go well? i totally missed it.
December 21, 2006 1:46:57 AM

The rd600 got delayed till January, my resources say sometime in Mid January. And Asus recently announced that they are going to make a rd600/intel board as well. So now there wil be choices, but the DFI is going to be the enthusiasts version.

I'll be doing the review on that once I get my hands on it.
I'll also be review many other products at/around the same time.

the general awesomeness of Marvin Gaye's music. ooooooooh yeah.

EDIT:

thanks 3lf, totally missed that. and i'm looking forward to seeing some stoof on it... even though DaSick gave it a "meh"..... :|

Oh... don't you know me so well... you know I love RAID... and ws environments. Well... here's what I'd like you to review... because I can't find any reviews anywhere on it so yeah.

http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/products/sas/raid/SAS-4800...

It's well under $1200 so that's not a problem. That and it's SAS... I'm thinking about getting it with my new comp... yeah... my new comp that I've been working on for a couple months... got pushed back because of a few problems with the IRS... I got income tax on a paycheck... twice...

Thermaltake CL-P0391 120mm CPU Cooler

After you're done with those other things, how about that CPU fan?

Then again, with how much crap people are giving you on your avatar, maybe putting something bright red into your system might not be the best idea. But if you do review it, I won't tell anyone.
December 21, 2006 2:16:01 AM

oh btw, are you gonna get any benefits as in support-wise from the product's manufacturer? Bc I think it sorta unfair for you to have to buy the item and do those hard works with your valuable time, just for us(hopefully :D ) =/

Thanks in advance :)
December 21, 2006 2:17:18 AM

buy a couple different phase change units and comare 'em.

since you are doing a thermal compound review(hows that going?)....what about a full high end heat sink review...I know its been done over and over again...but i think yours(daclan) will be the final word....at least no bias to one over another like many reviews...

Maybe a list of coolers based on db/degree or something like that....

Maybe some case reviews as well....I have been looking for a new case :)
December 21, 2006 2:26:46 AM

While I agree that holding off the review until R600 is released is the best idea, if you want to do something right away, how about a comparison of the top gaming mice and keyboards?

Hmm... Something awfully familiar about that design. I wonder if Zalman copyrighted it or whatever.

No idea. That was the highest air mover I could find on Newegg that was compatible with AM2, that's why I chose it.

This TJ09

Ninja needs a nice case 8)
and DaClan needs a case review...

if they didnt im pretty sure it's safe to say that they are PISSED about this. this is basically the fatality version just with red fins.

oh, and i wouldnt mind a review on the Bigfoot Networks Gaming NIC. i want to know if it actually does improve gamin g performance like they say it does.

i want a review with the razer tarantula   ''if u play games that is''
December 21, 2006 1:05:49 PM

How about a review of the new Razer Barracuda AC-1 sound card, and a comparison with the Creative X-Fi? This card's been on the market for awhile now, but haven't heard much about it. I'm building a new computer soon, and I'd like to see how it compares to an X-Fi as far as performance and potential Windows Vista compatibility with DirectX and OpenAL.

ASROCK DUAL SATA VSTA S939 AGP 8x / PCI-16X

It is such a unique board... i would love to see a review on this site or in this forum about it!
December 21, 2006 3:32:58 PM

Incredibly well designed too. The problem is that Ninja might not have all the hardware that takes to fully review it (with AM2 of course).
December 21, 2006 3:34:47 PM

Half the things you listed there arent reviews, theyre articles.
Let's keep it real, it would be easier for you to review phase than keyboards, mice, LCD, sound cards etc etc.
December 24, 2006 7:26:37 AM

my bad...i just threw it out there cuz i didnt have anything else. i wasnt aware that you already did the review on it. with that in mind, how about something like the corsair nautilus 500 or value ram vs gaming/performance ram
December 24, 2006 8:59:10 AM

I third or fourth the silverstone TJ109
December 24, 2006 9:56:32 AM

Ninja, you choose wich one.
December 24, 2006 10:01:25 AM

That would be the best "review" ever in the history of mankind. If i had a choice i think that i would "review the 3rd one.

review this thing, i want to see what it actually does, if anything.
