OK, first, don't blame me! I'm only posting this link to an article over on the www.hardwaresecrets.com site. Figured there is nothing that people love to do around here more than the old back and forth ... err, discussion about PSUs.

So here's a link and we'll see if anyone has any comments about the article it links to.

i actually agree with that article, many sites just hook PSU's up to multimeter's and call it a day. i dont think that is the usual case with THG tho, they test PSU's rather hard, running them at full capacity, and documenting everything.

I would have preferred it showed us an example of a bad PSU being claimed a good one. I agree with their basic idea, that its too difficult to truely test a PSU. I don't believe that the reviews shouldn't be published. I have seen many reviews on PSU where I agree with the conclusion reached, and they shouldn't have been published according to these guys.
