OK... my friend has a Thecus N2100 and is using it in a mirrored setup (original firmware, hasn't been updated yet).

Anyway, he was using it earlier today then, suddenly, couldn't connect to it. He turned it off, turned it back on, and the orange light started blinking which seems to indicate that the raid array is rebuilding. After that it was blank, no files showed up anywhere. What happened?
Does anyone know how to recover the data? What file system does the N2100 use? It says journaling, but which one? Is it EXT2FS? Can we pull one of those drives out, sticl them in our linux box, and try some form of undelete?

Please, any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

What kind of hard drives is it using? a RAID 0 produces NO REDUNDENCY. Which basically means if one drive fails.....your screwed. :)

sorry :(
