Hi there,

i have tried lamost everything from updating my motherboard bios to reinstalling windows XP and by disabling (renaming) Mup.sys

From what i read here and there the problem is not related to Mup.sys itself.

My issue: everything works fine on my new computer apart when i insert the pci wlan card (i have tried at least 3 different wlan cards). Windows on't start up. It freezes at Mup.sys. renaming mup.sys just leads to a freeze to the next driver and so on...
I can't even reinstall windows if the Wlan card in inserted it block at "Starting up Windows".

I have tried a USB Wlan card and it works but USB Wlan card are just very bad imo (or at least the Belkin on i have) as i lagged like hell :/

well, i have also try to use different HD but it does not help.

Well, it should be in the Bios or smthg but i don't understand...

My setting:
P5N32-SLI Deluxe
ATI Radeon X600
WD 250Gb
1024MB Crucial (memory)
etc...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Antonio

Just wondering.. does it freeze when you startup in Safe Mode?

DLink has a USB card that is supperb for around 50 bucks. I have had no issues with it at all.

Hi, yeah it does freeze at Safe Mode startup

If you can confirm that the Dlink card does generate Lag while playing then i'll go for it!

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have some conflicting driver files there.

The model of DLink that I am talking about is Model: WUA-2340

I have not tested with gaming but I do transfer huge files over computers all the time and have not come into any hang up issues.

Hope that helps.
