Ok, don't buy ide hard drives, get a sata one. Drop the 975x motherboard and get a 965p (gigabyte 965p-s3 is good), it'll oc better and perform better for a lower price. Just my opinion but if you don't that ide is old and outdated right now, maybe you shouldn't be building a pc.

Don't get that case and PSU. The Aspire cases are bad. Get an Antec PSU. They are really reliable at a great price.

Get whatever case you like.

850 PSU is probably overkill.

Agree on the IDE drive thing. You want SATA.

Planning to OC? Even if you are, there's cheaper memory out there that will work just fine.

A 965 mobo will probably save you some cash as well.

Nice set up overall though.
