Im planning to get a msi 975x platnum MB combo with cor2 e6400 and some memmory. But the only memmory they offer is ddr2-667. When the board requires ddr2-800. This is where im ordering from http://www.smksuperstore.com/catal [...] p?ID=15095

I think you'll find that the MB supports DDR2-800 or slower, not just DDR2-800. You should be fine.

The board will only run DDR 800 when you set it at so (either by overclocking or with memory multipliers). Otherwise it will run at the C2D stock speed of 266Mhz (DDR 533).
That is just so you wont freak out and rush back here :wink:

why from the superstore? have you looked at newegg.com?
i think the prices are better at newegg
