problem with starting up after installing webcam

Hello, after i installed a webcam my computer fails to properly startup, it
takes about 45 minutes to boot (windows screen stays with blinking progress
bar). I tried a new webcam (sitecom), after that failed i installed another
webcam (creative webcam plus). After i noticed the time needed to startup
was that long, i deinstalled both drivers or so i thought. Since then my
computer still needs those 45 minutes to startup, even after a complete
removal of all webcam software. Anybody know what is going on? Should i do a
regedit search for software or something?
