...either a Lian Li V1200 Plus or a Lian Li V1200 Plus II, which would you choose? As far as I can tell, the only difference is with the fan in the top right-hand corner of the case. On the Plus, it is an intake fan that blows cool air down onto the PCI slots, namely, a hot graphics card. However, the Plus II has a exhaust fan that replaces this, and instead blows hot air out of the case. Which would be preferable?

NOTE: If you find any other differences in the cases, please point them out to me.

If I had to choose, I'd go with the Plus II. Should push out quite a bit of air.

I would agree that it pushes air out, but I guess my question is more along the lines of the way things are cooled, would it be better to add more cool air or pump warm air out?

I was asking something like this not too long ago. The response that I got was that you want more positive airflow out, rather then a more open environment. Else it would just be easier to open up the case and point a box fan at it. That's why I like the second one, I was thinking of the airflow of it, and how much better, in my mind, it would seem to be.

So I suppose following the original thought for the system, if you were to push more out, you'd automatically be pulling more in, so it'd be a win-win. Unless you hit a point where adding more power to pushing air out yielded very little or no gain to things getting cooled.
