Has anyone had anyproblems with this setup: Core2Duo E6600 (L630A5), Asus p5b-e plus, and Corsair XMS2 PC6400 5-5-5-12 (TWIN2X2048-6400, the corsair 2 x 1GB 800mhz kit, rated at 5-5-5-12, Not the C4)

My system wont post at all, so i sendt the mobo back, but if anyone else has experienced any problems with the TWIN2X corsairs and Asus P5B-E, i would like to hear about it, because then i will get a different motherboard instead of just a new p5B-e+.

thx

i hear people tell me, that this might!! be a problem. but no one can tell me of anyone with a p5b-e and the corsair twin2x (non C4 version). can anybody confirm that corsair twin2x (pc6400 5-5-5-12) has a problem with the P5B-eplus board?

It's not the mobo. Those Cas 5 Corsairs seem to be trouble - especially with the board. You probably have a bad stick or two. Did you try booting with just one or the other stick in by itself? Also, go in and manually change the DDR voltage to 1.9v and the DDR speed to DDR-800. Also, try manually setting the speeds to Use 5-5-5-12-5-42-3-11-5-14.
