I got tired of having to open my case to move the bios configuration jumper after messing up on my settings (ie, trying to overclock too much). I went to my local Fry's and picked up a toggle switch and a molex 3 pin housing ... here are the results:

Here is a picture of the toggle switch mounted thru the side vent of my Antec case....

The 3 green wires end at my bios configuration jumpers...

I think I've caught the OC bug.

Cute. But what would be really bitchin' would be if you had one of those little plastic covers, like for missiles so they can't fire them by accident, with "DANGER" on it

I had one of those for the power switch for my computer up until I got a new case. It was pretty sweet. That would also look pretty good there.

Eventually I'll probably drill a hole in an expansion slot cover for a less visible (safer) mount. But... it is nice to have it so easily accessible while I'm still playing with my OC.

As for gomerpile's question: how's the heat in that case...

The case is an Antec TX640B with the the stock PSU removed. The heat/airflow is really good. My system temp monitors usually read around 32C dle (+ 2/4C at load). The case came with a TriCool 120mm fan on the back (@medium). I added a Zalman 80mm fan to the front (in silent mode), and a 92mm TriCool side fan (@medium.) The overall result is effective and quiet... all of the fans are running below their top-speeds. I tired another 120mm fan over the primary side-vent , but it was louder and there was no change in overall temperatures.

I've been eyeing the Antec 900, but only because it looks so bad-as*... practically speaking I don't need the upgrade. :)
