how to detect when application hangs in windows, send emal

Hi All,
Here is the situation. We have one delphi application and we run it on
windows. It runs 24x7. But sometime this application hangs.(Not
responding, due to whatever reason). I have to walk to the computer to
check, and if its hung, then kill this process and restart again.
So I was thinking if there is any way, we can monitor if this program
is hung, if so, send email to me. Are there any free tools availble or
it can be configured somehow in windows.

I will appreciate your replies.
