forum clean up

howdly woodly, tudlies?

guys, this place always feels the same. i say how about a clean-up? get rid of all the stickies. it's news only once. to see the same thing every time i visit this section is depressing. i think a better way of handling these stickies in the "other" section and maintaining forum flow would be by "personal notification." email, private messaging (PMs baby, PMs), pop-up window, or anything else that works.

i also advocate the:
bring back the "in reply to" option


btw, i saw ryan and rc walking naked in the polls section. i think they were trying to pull zips pants down too, and i think they are all drunk. someone should do something about that.

Stickies?

If you removed the stickies where would I get my glue?

The stickies have a useful purpose. Those that blindly stumble in here cop abuse and get told in no uncertain terms to read the stickies before being told to fcuk off and die. Some do indeed fcuk off, never to return. Good riddance, we don;t want their type down here. Then, occasionally, one comes along who puts up with the abuse, reads (and enjoys) the stickies then hangs around.

Filters out a lot of the twats. They tend to reside in Hardware nowadays.
