Which one of these graphic cards is the best??

I was just wondering which one of these graphic cards is the best on a general basis:


Nvidia GeForce FX5700 LE

Or

ATI Radeon 9800 Pro

Because I don´t knnow so much about graphic cards in general.

Even if the 5700 wasn't a stripped down LE version, the 9800pro would still be the winner. The Nvidia card that "equals" the 9800pro is the 5900 series. I put equals in quotes because although the frame rates would be similar, the image quality would be worse. (and frames would be horrid once your in DX9.)
